Kirton Kayaks
Kirton is a family-run business that has been designing and building kayaks in Devon since 1966. Known for their sturdy racing craft, Kirton also makes sea kayaks and now, in partnership with Epic Kayaks UK, surfskis.
Dougal learnt to paddle in a trusty Kirton Mirage 4 and a year later Kirton backed Dougal and Francis Huntingford with a Marauder K2, which they paddled to win the 2016 Devizes to Westminster junior K2 race. Ever since Dougal has been lucky enough to test Kirton’s latest designs and get a glimpse behind the scenes at the factory.
