A surfski adventure with no destination

The route? There is no route!

No one knows where I’ll go, not even me. I could be paddling for two months, it could be two years. That is because, above all, this trip is about adventure – the exciting experiences gifted to us when we just let go and let fate write our future.

Instead of being tied to a route, let the sea decide where it takes me. I will go where the wind blows me, the tides pull me, where the old man on the pier points. Completely liberated yet completely determined, I will surrender my ego, and instead follow my heart.

To begin the trip I will get on the ferry to Cherbourg, and start paddling.

This I wrote before the adventure began. Well after thousands of kilometres and months of unforgettable adventures around France, Italy, Greece, Albania, Montenegro and Croatia, I’m now back home planning my next project.
